my two cents on super bowl xxxix



  • the teams need prettier uniforms. i smell a project runway challenge for the next season!
  • the "top 10 ad elements" fedex ad was NOT smart. nor creative. it was observant. and obvious. get a new favorite ad already.
  • the budweiser parachuting ad WAS smart. it made me laugh. it was memorable. that's all you need from a super bowl ad right? mini-super-hilarious-add-afflicted 30 second sitcoms? brand recall schmecall.
  • mustang convertible ad was mind-numbingly dull and uselessly annoyingly oft repeated.
