pieces of *ss @ dodger stages

i got free tix to this show via craigslist - thanks to this person in particular. i've seen CL posts for free tix to this show every day since i went (this past friday), so i'm sure she/he will have something to offer if you get in touch and play nice.

pieces of *ss is being performed at dodger stages - 340 w. 50th st b/w 8th & 9th ave. the show itself is a series of monologues ("think vagina" says dave), and they're all performed by late-20s, early 30s ladies that are lustfully luscious. 8 or so stories in all, including a lesbian that succumbed to an all-american cheerleader, an ex-beauty pageant queen, a jewish princess, an ex-bulimic, a confident afro'd black woman relating how she snagged her hottie husband, and a foxy french girl prone to bad translation. the show also comes with blonde jokes (good ones! honest!), clubby music, panasonic & esquire logos plastered everywhere, and a cozy small (capacity approx. 200) theater. not a bad seat in the house. the building as a whole, however, is quite mazelike, so be arrow-wary.

apparently the cast changes from time to time because some friends of mine went last night, were thoroughly amused, but saw a soliloquy that i did not - a tomboy that told a skateboarding story. it's ok, cuz i already know that story.
