aloha all, i've been out of town. enjoyed a jolly two-day jaunt in san francisco this week. mostly to celebrate a corporate rebranding. minorly to get my nails done (professionally for the first time evAr!) at spa bar. i highly recommend it. manicures, blow drys, up dos, pedicures, even baths. and yummy bumble & bumble products everywhere.

there is big money in baking cookies. no need for fancy chocolate drizzle, shaved coconut topping, or rainbow sprinkles. they even have to taste that good. these cookie curators are fully aware that image is everything. just make sure your sweets are frosted in technicolor and pay homage to world-famous celebrities that have been nominated for oscars. tis guaranteed that your $60 baker's dozens will jump off the shelves like motivated lemmings.

hm. i wonder if royalties need to be paid for this image use/abuse.
