ricola cough drops are celebrating their 75th anniversary by giving away a million dollars to the nice guy that offers a stranger a ricola. the catch is that the benevolent cougher could be in any one of 300 u.s. cities. also, he/she/it might be only in that certain city coughing for 10 minutes. props to the A team for coming up with it.

it's quite the clever contest - how the heck do you calculate the infinitesimal odds of winning anything from this mystery ricola peon? i think you've got a better chance of finding a purple peanut than winning this cool million (check out the official rules), but it'll spread awareness of the brand like wildfire and has the added bonus of producing random acts of kindness. we could all use some more of those.
